Please read our terms and conditions of booking below. Your electronic signature will serve as agreement to these terms. We do not want to confuse you with lots of jargon and legal wording. The simple aim of our Terms and Conditions is to make you fully aware of what you are agreeing to when you make a booking. Your privacy is critical to us. Any data collected during the course of this booking will be confidential and not shared with any third party.
Payment Details
For all bookings, we request a cash, BACS bank transfer or card payment non-refundable 25 percent deposit, to secure the booking. The Balance Payment can be made on the day of departure by cash/BACS bank transfer or card payment. Extended stays (5 days +) will be required to pay on or prior to arrival.
We can accept most major cards.
Prices
The price includes accommodation and breakfast.
- Argyll Room (King) £100 per night.
- Bute Room (King or Twin) £100 per night.
- Bute Room (King or Twin for two adults plus day bed for one child under 16) £125 per night.
- Bute Room (King or Twin for two adults plus day bed for two children under 16) £150 per night.
- Bute Room (King or Twin for two adults plus day bed for two adults) £200 per night.
Guest Cancellation
Once you have booked your stay and paid the deposit, our agreement is a legal contract.
If you need to cancel please contact us as soon as possible.
We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can intervene, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases. Cancellations can be made up to 14 days prior to the arrival date without further charge. For cancellations within 7 days of the arrival date, we reserve the right to invoice for the remainder of the booking fee. Payment will be due immediately on receipt of the electronic invoice.
Non-availability
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund any monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in will be available to you between 3.00pm and 4:00pm on your day of arrival. Please let us know the day before if you are planning to arrive earlier or later, as alternative check-in arrangements may need to be organised.
During check-in between 3:00pm and 4:00pm, guests will be served with tea, coffee and homemade scones, cream & jam in the guest lounge, breakfast room.
During your stay at East Laigh Gree Bed and Breakfast, you are also agreeing to the following:
- If under 18 you are accompanied by an adult.
- As we aim to run an allergy free Bed and Breakfast, dogs or any other animals are not permitted onto the premises. This includes leaving animals in your car overnight.
- You will not remove any items from East Laigh Gree Bed and Breakfast which you have not paid for.
- You will respect the comfort of your fellow guests by minimizing noise from TVs and opening and closing doors, especially after 10:00pm and before 08:00am.
- You will pay the balance of your stay on or before the final morning of your stay.
- Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 11:00am on your day of departure. Your invoice for your accommodation will be payable on departure, if not already paid. Should you wish to leave luggage for later collection please let us know in advance.
Guest Areas
As we are a small home owner run Bed and Breakfast, the guest areas of the house and the grounds are for the use of our guests only. If guests wish to have visitors, then this must be agreed by us in advance.
Entry, exit door. Guests will be provided with a door entry code following check-in to enable them to enter, exit through the french doors in the guest lounge and come and go as they please during their stay.
Parking at East Laigh Gree Bed and Breakfast can accommodate cars, motorhomes, large trailers and commercial vehicles.
Noise should be kept to a minimum. East Laigh Gree Bed and Breakfast is a peaceful property. Noise must cease during the following hours:10.00pm to 8.00am
Consumption of Alcohol is allowed. For guests abusing this privilege, as determined by East Laigh Gree Bed and Breakfast, will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
Snacks and beverage consumption is allowed in the guest room and hot food such as home delivery or carryouts are allowed only if discussed in advance to enable the table to be set in the Breakfast Room.
The Kitchen is restricted to staff use only, for the health and safety of our guests. The hosts' quarters are also restricted.
Burning of any type of combustible is not allowed in the guest room(s) or on the premises. This includes, but is not limited to, candles and incense.
Damages and Breakages are the responsibility of the guest. Please take care when staying on our property. We ask that you do report any incidents when they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may if the damage or breakage is significant.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves. Breakfast is served from 8.00 – 9:30 a.m. daily. If you require an earlier breakfast time, please let your host know at least one day in advance.
Any dietary restrictions or allergies must be noted at the time of booking.
